Venco undertakes projects related to water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environment Management Plan (EMP) studies. It attends to environmental issues by offering such as environmental reporting, design, development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems. It also focuses on source reduction techniques by way of resource conservation, segregation etc. through in-plant control.

Waste Management Services

Venco has developed expertise in handling issues related to Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) and has been working in:

• Survey of solid waste generation, Collection, treatment and disposal in municipal settings.
• Identifying sites for locating sanitary landfill for disposal of MSW by adopting site selection criteria, conducting preliminary and detailed Hydro geological investigations, rapid environmental impact assessment, environment health impact assessment
• Studies on assessment of environmental impacts of existing landfill sites
